Impact for Lakeville

Since it was planted in 1975, Bethlehem has been committed to making an impact in Lakeville and the surrounding communities. In 1980, the first building project created space to accomplish the mission of this church. Then in 2005 a new building created even more space.

The need for more space continues. We purchased about 19 acres near Lakeville North High School where we can double the space of the current facility. Due to exponential growth we believe that now is the time to build again.

Pledge Phase

The donation goal which will enable us to achieve this project is $1 million. Other costs will be addressed through selling of the current Iberia property, partnering with an senior housing developer, and financing.

One of the main steps to transition to a larger ministry facility was to sell our property. That sale was finalized as of October 1, 2017.

Starting on October 8 Bethlehem began to use Lakeville North High School's auditorium for worship services until our new building is complete.

Not only was this move necessary, but it placed us in a better position to make an even bigger impact. Moving to North immediately tripled our seating capacity, increased youth ministry space, and it created numerous ways for people to serve.

As of January 2018, plans are on schedule to allow for groundbreaking to occur in the springtime. Our building plans have been approved by the City of Lakeville and we are in the bidding process for the next phase, which is construction!
